What does silence look like? Silence is a way in which all the powers of the soul and faculties of the body are seemingly at peace, quiet, and recollected. But, what if silence simultaneously unearths all the havoc quietly breathing within. Can silence be both sanctuary and prison? If so, how do you learn to reconcile and balance between these two opposing truths. Silentium is a chronicle of woman’s continual journey between these ossicliating forces as they weave their way through her physical, internal and metaphysical spaces. She slowly discovers that true silence is a place found only when all conflicting spaces and forces can transpire and live in a mercurial plane of calm.
